Celestun

This group of 16 lots is located approximately 1 mile north of Celestun, which is a 90 minute drive from Merida on good roads. Celestun is a small fishing village in a secluded area of the Yucatan, far enough from tourism, yet close enough to the established shopping and cultural center of Merida. The lots are in an area called "Amigos del Flamingo" because of the thousands of flamingos that migrate to the Biosphere Reserve, which is only about two miles away. This is a picturesque lagoon which is the natural habitat for flamingos, herons, egrets, pelicans, and other water fowl. Boating in this area is strictly limited to the approved guide boats. The lots are 25 meters wide and unusually deep (140 meters plus the 20 meter federal zone.) This is the equivalent of .86 acre.  The price is currently $69,900 cash. Owner financing is available for 5 year term. Financing for house and lot is available for 20 year term.
